The District announces Nov. concert schedule

The District, Sioux Falls’ newest event hall opening Nov. 8 by The Empire Mall, announced its November concert lineup this morning.

Performers include Indigenous, Uncle Kracker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, New Sound Underground, Wookiefoot, Josh Thompson, Goodroad, Hairball and Soulcrate.

Indigenous will perform 8 p.m. Nov. 7 as part of VIP Media Day, and an invite is required to attend the show.

Uncle Kracker (above) will perform 8 p.m. on opening night, Nov. 8, and the concert is free.

Rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters will perform Nov. 9 with the Kris Lager Band. The show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets are $29.50 or $40 for VIP balcony.

Minneapolis-based jazz fusion band New Sound Underground will perform Nov. 7-9 in The District Lounge at 9 p.m. The shows are free.

Wookiefoot will perform 8 p.m. Nov. 15 with That 1 Guy. Tickets are general admission for the all-ages show.

Goodroad will host a CD release show 8 p.m. Nov. 16. The concert is free.

Country singer Josh Thompson will perform 6 p.m. Nov. 24. Tickets are general admission for the all-ages show.

’80s and ’90s rock band Hairball will perform 8 p.m. Nov. 27. Tickets are $17 or $30 and will go on sale Sept. 28.

Lastly, Soulcrate Music will perform 8 p.m. Nov. 29 with special guests Prof and Later Babes. Tickets are $10 or $15 and go on sale Sept. 28.
