Five more make Top 20 on ‘Idol’

Five more “American Idol” contestants were granted to the next round on Thursday night, and after two nights, 10 out of 40 have been sent home and 10 are now part of season 12’s Top 20. Next week will repeat the same process as this week, having 10 girls audition on Wednesday and 10 guys audition on Thursday. By the end of next week, fans will finally have their Top 20!
The five guys who are moving forward from last night are Paul Jolley, Elijah Liu, Devin Velez, Charlie Askew and Curtis Finch Jr. It’s probably a good thing Jda didn’t make it through- I don’t know if America could handle Jda and Charlie in one season. Remember when we thought Adam Lambert was outlandish? Psssh, he’s a baby lamb compared to Jda, who apparently sings better while lying on the ground.
After next week’s auditions, viewers will finally take the reigns and begin voting for their favorites on March 6.
