Fun opportunities at Zing
Let’s just put this out there straight away: Zing rocks.
Downtown’s sassy design shop and studio moved to a bigger and better and totally cool location on 11th and Minnesota about a month ago (which was dangerous- a block away from the Argus. My new lunch break is shopping.) Since its move, they’ve implemented classes, wine and trend nights, and their stuff inside is just really fun. From cards to furniture, clocks to art, there is something inside for every friend, for every home.
During the month of February, Zing will be hosting free crafting for all ages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. You don’t need to register- just pop in to create some art. Bigger projects will be planned as well, but those will cost a fee and will be announced later.
Registration is now open for “Sip and Create,” an opportunity on Tuesday, Feb. 12 to enjoy a glass of wine and make a Valentine gift for your friend, family or sweetheart. The event will held from 6-8 p.m.
Have plans to head downtown for Valentine’s Day? Stop by Zing before dinner from 4-6 p.m. on Feb. 14 to taste free butterfly kisses.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, enjoy wine while you shop from 4-6 p.m.
Lastly, Grand Opening weekend will be Feb. 22-24, and the official ribbon cutting will held Feb. 21.
