Friday, Dec. 28
Food: TGIF! Make reservations for a pre-New Year’s Eve dinner at Carnaval Brazilian Grill, and enjoy live music while you dine by the Jazz Vibe Quartet from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Event: Catch a special holiday film showing at the Cinedome inside the Washington Pavilion today. “Night at the Museum,” starring Ben Stiller, will be showing at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m., and the showing will continue through Jan. 3. Tickets are $7.50 for ages 3 to 12 and for seniors and $9.50 for adults. Enjoy dessert at Leonardo’s Cafe inside the Pavilion after the show.
Saturday, Dec. 29
Food: Wild Sage Grille is offering a New Year’s Eve menu tonight and Monday. Choose from buffalo T-bone, crab-stuffed salmon, oven-braised lamb shanks or three-cheese tortellini with prosciutto. Make reservations at 274-1667.
Event: Phoenix Lounge in Harrisburg will host a pre-New Year’s Eve party tonight featuring Rukapuff, who is on the hunt for the next hot artist, and it could be you! The “We Lead You Follow” show is presented by Black 300 Music Group and Project 605, and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 30
Food: Bracco’s new sister restaurant Starz, located just west of 57th and Western, offers a breakfast menu all day, every day. Order one of their specialty omelets this morning, such as chili, polish, sausage, Spam or bratwurst and cheese. Each omelet is $8.95 with hashbrowns, and the sports bar opens at 10 am.
Event: Join the fun at the Olde Towne Dinner Theatre in Worthing today. A dessert-only performance of “9 to 5 the Musical” will begin at 2 p.m. Music and lyrics are by Doly Parton and the book is by Patricia Resnick. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and tickets are $18.
