Open mic night tonight!
Tonight on the Town for Wednesday, Oct. 3!
Food: Bon appetit! The Hy-Vee on 26th and Sycamore will host an Italian wine dinner tonight, beginning at 6 p.m. Chef Bob Allen and Will Anderson of Johnson Brothers Famous Brands will serve four courses with wine: Zonin Prosecco wine will pair with brie and caramelized apple risotto for the first course. The second course is a pinot grigio paired with Agnolotti alla Fraccaro in a savory tomato and basil broth. The third course is Chianti Classic paired with a lamb ragu served on a parmigiano reggiano polenta. And the final course is Bartenura Brachetto paired with a pistachio crème brulee. Pre-registration is required by calling 334-4570, and tickets are $40.
The Reformed Church in Dell Rapids also will host a soup and pie supper tonight from 5-8 p.m. Cost is donation.
Event: Step up for open mic night! Jack Rollins will host at Latitude 44, beginning at 7 p.m. All amateurs are welcome to the stage at Old Skoolz as well, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Both bars are located on Eighth Street. Also going on, Thirsty Duck will host Full FX karaoke from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
